Due to some unfortunate accidents resulting in some deaths at some grain facilities in Illinois, OSHA is taking a proactive approach and conducting audits at some Illinois grain facilities. OSHA will be looking at proper employee training, PPE, confined space entry plans just to name a few. With fall harvest just beginning in some parts of Illinois, please take the time to make sure you are in compliance with OSHA regulations. Fines for non-compliance can reach tens of thousands of dollars.
