Fall Nitrogen Surveys Still Needed

If you haven't replied to the Illinois State University/IFCA survey asking about how your business would change if the fall application of nitrogen were restricted or eliminated, please do so as soon as possible.  So far we have a 30% response rate from our retail members.  Even if you do not sell anhydrous, it is still important to get your feedback on how you think your business would have to change to compete in a spring-only marketplace for nitrogen.  The overall economic impact to Illinois if fall N were eliminated will become the foundation of our lobbying efforts as we work with the new President and the Congress on any actions they attempt to make to address the Hypoxia situation in the Gulf of Mexico.  The survey and related documents are all available on the IFCA website.  If you need any assistance obtaining the documents or returning them to ISU, please give us a call.
