Congratulations to Verne (Tinker) Bader of Bader Ag in Meredosia and to Malcolm Stambaugh of Ag View FS in Walnut, Illinois for being name as 4R advocates by TFI!  These two IFCA members and their farmers customers will be heading to the Commodity Classic in San Antonio this week to be honored with 3 other national winners for their efforts to promote and implement the 4Rs of nutrient stewardship (right source, right rate, right time, right place).   Both Tinker and Malcolm worked with their farmer customers on 4R practices including splitting nitrogen applications, strip tilling phosphorus, and planting cover crops.  These efforts resulted in improved yields and environmental benefits.  We are proud of Verne, Malcolm and the farmers who entrusted these retailers to provide key leadership and expertise on the 4Rs!
