Within the next few weeks, the Illinois Department of Agriculture will invoice fertilizer distributions for the Nutrient Research & Education Council (NREC) assessment on bulk fertilizer tons sold in the Spring of 2013.   The assessment remains at 75 cents per ton.  Do not remit any payment to NREC until you receive your invoice, and please use the address and envelope provided by IDA to send payment.  If you have any questions about NREC, please contact Jean Payne.
