As you sell spring fertilizer this year, the Nutrient Research & Education Council has asked IFCA to encourage our members to place the 75 cent per ton NREC assessment on the fertilizer invoice.  NREC feels very strongly that farmers should be aware that the ag industry is making a significant commitment to fund research, education and outreach programs to increase yields and minimize agriculture’s environmental footprint.  For guidance on how to describe the NREC assessment on the invoice go to www.ifca.com and review helpful information on the new changes to the Fertilizer Act.
