As IFCA takes on new responsibilities regarding the management of the new Nutrient Research & Education Council, along with IFCA's role in providing leadership to the Illinois Council on Best Management Practices' "Keep it for the Crop" nutrient stewardship program, a new staff member is needed to assist with the many state and federal issues that impact IFCA members.  Kevin Johnson was the agricultural liaison for Illinois Congressman Timothy Johnson, who recently retired from Congress.  Kevin has great depth of knowledge on pesticide, fertilizer, water, transportation and energy issues and is well known in the ag industry.  We look forward to having Kevin as a key part of our team.
