There have been reports from around the state of roads being posted below 80,000 lbs this summer, sometimes for no apparent reason.  The ag and transportation industries are trying to verify where these locations are and discussing a strategy to bring common sense into the picture.  If you are aware of any areas in your territory where roads are being posted outside the normal spring thaw timeframes, please report those locations to IFCA.  We need to know the county and township, the road limit posted, businesses affected by the posting, if the posting is being applied to all or just some traffic, and the reasons (if any) being given for the postings.  Please contact Jean Payne or Kevin Runkle at IFCA if you have information to share.  Thank you!
