IFCA’s new First Pass Applicator Training program is designed specifically for new applicators looking to build a strong foundation in safe, effective, and compliant pesticide application practices. This hands-on, two-day course focuses on real-world application scenarios, sprayer operation and safety, dry fertilizer application basics, and practical learning activities led by experienced instructors.

The program is intended for employees new to application responsibilities, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of application safety and stewardship practices. Space is limited to 22 attendees per session.

• July 14–15, 2026
• September 15–16, 2026

The course will be held at the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association office in Bloomington. Registration cost is $500 per attendee and includes lunch both days.
