Remembering Terry Gaylord: A Familiar Face at IFCA Events
IFCA is saddened to share the news that Terry R. Gaylord Sr., 76, of Springville, Tennessee, passed away on February 15, 2026. Many of our members will remember Terry as a familiar face at the IFCA Convention and MAGIE Show dating back to 2010. He valued the friendships and connections made through the industry and truly never met a stranger.
Terry was born August 21, 1949, Terry lived a life defined by service, hard work, and deep devotion to his family. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1972. Following his military service, he built a long career as a Teamster truck driver before later serving as maintenance supervisor for Weakly County Farmer's CO-OP and as a farm implement sales associate for KBH Corporation, retiring in 2022. He was also proud to have earned his private pilot’s license, fulfilling a lifelong passion for aviation.
Terry is survived by his wife, Judith; his sons, Tim and Terry Ray (Liz); three grandchildren, Aidan, Jaxon, and Coeli Mae; and his brothers, James and Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances.
He will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, adventurous spirit, and, above all, his pride in being “Papa” to his cherished grandchildren.
Our sincere condolences go out to Terry’s family and friends during this difficult time.
