The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) has named River Valley Cooperative of Eldridge, Iowa, the 2025 Retailer of the Year. CEO Tim Burress credited the award to the cooperative’s employees and members, emphasizing their commitment to innovation, stewardship, and strong customer relationships.

 

Founded in 1905, River Valley Cooperative serves growers in Iowa and Illinois and is recognized for its focus on employee development, customer partnerships, and ResponsibleAg-certified facilities. The cooperative is also noted for its community involvement and support of future agricultural leaders.

 

ARA President and CEO Daren Coppock praised River Valley for balancing innovation, service, and safety—core values celebrated by the award, which is sponsored by Bayer Crop Science and The Scoop. River Valley offers a wide range of agronomy services and continues to build on its long-standing reputation for integrity and industry leadership.
