Trump Signs Executive Order to Lower Proposed Tariffs on Canadian Potash
Yesterday, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order (EO) delaying 25 percent tariffs on any goods that comply with the USMCA. Additionally, the EO lowered the tariff from 25 percent to 10 percent on any potash that enters the US from Canada and Mexico that does not comply with the USMCA.
IFCA applauds President Trump on this action. This positive first step forward in our ongoing efforts to ensure a stable and affordable supply of all fertilizers.
