Dr. Aaron Hager at the University of Illinois released this week an article titled “EPA's Final Herbicide Strategy for ESA: What Could Change”, describing what is listed in the final herbicide strategy and how this will affect pesticide use moving forward. 

Last week, Dr. Hager spoke at the IFCA Board of Directors fall board meeting to go in great detail on what this means for ag retailers. IFCA recommends all ag retailers read this article to get fully up to date on what EPA is asking for on the herbicide strategy. 

 

There are still several questions IFCA has regarding the herbicide strategy going into the future. IFCA will be covering the new herbicide strategy in greater detail at our winter convention.
