IFCA is saddened to learn of the passing of our friend Mark Killian. Mark A Killian of Towanda formerly of Melvin passed away Sunday, September 15 at the age of seventy-nine. Mark had a true passion for Agriculture and the Ag Retail Industry. Mark owned and operated Ag Service II in Melvin before semi-retiring in 1998. Mark then started Johnny on the Spot and in 2014 passed down the business to his son Steve.   Mark was very active with the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association especially when it came to the MAGIE show. Mark never met a stranger and was always giving back to his community as well as assisting others. If you were fortunate enough to meet Mark, then you walked away a better person.
