This week IFCA's KJ Johnson was busy on the road providing ag retailers and farmers with an update of what is currently happening at IFCA, with a deeper discussion regarding EPA's herbicide strategy and how the spring legislative session went in Springfield.

 

On Tuesday, KJ was invited by the Illinois Soybean Association to speak on a panel discussion EPA’s herbicide strategy and how it will affect ag retailers and farmers in Illinois. On Wednesday, Bayer Crop Science invited KJ to speak at their Southern Illinois Field Day near Centralia. The herbicide strategy was discussed along with an update on what is currently occurring in Washington DC that impacts our industry. He also laid out to the group the major priority IFCA has in the next legislative session to pass continuous education on pesticide licensing going into the future.
