Wednesday, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued a plan to update, streamline and clarify their regulations and oversight mechanisms for products of biotechnology.
