Recently one of our members received an inquiry from an unknown individual requesting to purchase fertilizer.  The individual in question wanted to purchase a rather large amount of fertilizer. This individual would not provide any details on the intended use yet was very insistent on wanting to purchase the fertilizer and made several follow-up phone calls trying to convince the Ag retailer to sell him the fertilizer. If you do receive any suspicious phone calls requesting the purchase of fuel, fertilizer, or crop protection products, try to document any requests and contact your local law enforcement.
