In 2021, The BRANDT Foundation, in coordination with the University of Illinois, awarded the first Glen Brandt Prize for Entrepreneurism. The award celebrates the legacy that Glen established through his own entrepreneurial spirit. After a 3-year agreement, the BRANDT Foundation Board decided to team with U of I for a 4^th year, and the U of I Foundation is willing to sit down with a good potential candidate to establish a relationship so they can be nominated and check the U of I connection box.

 

Applications are open for the 2024 prize. Please share the application information with your customers and think about innovative and entrepreneurial nominees within your customer base. This really is free, no-strings-attached money! It could help finalize a current project or help take something from concept to reality. The recipient is chosen by the U of I Foundation and the deadline for nominations is February 1, 2024. The winner will be acknowledged during the Ag Tech Summit at U of I in March.
