Jean Stewart, a Vermilion County Grower who has been involved with IFCA and NREC funded research, was recently highlighted in an Illinois Sustainable Ag Partnership article. Jean has hosted several nitrogen rate trials over the years, where the results have helped update the Maximum Return to Nitrogen (MRTN) calculator for the state as well as helped him understand what nitrogen rate should be used for his specific fields.
