This week, CropLife magazine published CropLife 100, a 40th anniversary of the original 1984 listing of the largest U.S. ag retailers ranked by sales. 

 

Forty years ago, the sales range for the companies on the CropLife 100 was between $5 million and $80 million. In 2023, annual sales in the $80 million range would land an ag retailer in the mid-60s out of the 100 largest companies, with 59 ag retailers on the 2023 listings recording yearly sales of more than $100 million.
