This week, CropLife magazine published its CropLife 100, a 40th anniversary of the original listing of the largest U.S. ag retailers ranked by sales. 

 

Forty years ago, the sales range for the companies on the CropLife 100 was between $5 million and $80 million. In 2023, annual sales in the $80 million range would land an ag retailer in the mid-60s out of the 100 largest companies, with 59 ag retailers on the 2023 listings recording yearly sales of more than $100 million.
