Pesticide Damage Story in Champaign News-Gazette
Late last week on the front page of the Champaign’s News-Gazette was a story titled “Collateral Damage.” A photo of the story appears below. Click here to read the article. The article describes tree damage in a subdivision near Seymour possibly related to pesticide use. This is a good reminder for our industry to always be aware of your surroundings and make sure you adhere to the pesticide label when applying pesticides. The increased awareness from the general public when applying pesticides next to subdivisions, lawns, parks, recreational areas, forests, etc., should be a driving force related to maintaining pesticide stewardship.
