IFCA Signs Letter Supporting FIFRA
This week IFCA also signed on to a coalition letter to Congress to reaffirm that EPA should be the primary, federal authority for making pesticide findings and decisions under the FIFRA legislation. IFCA believes that states have the right to build upon the agency’s findings should they choose, but that EPA have final input. Congressional action on this important matter will ensure ag retailers and farmers have reliable access to these vital tools in the years to come.
