The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced on May 31, 2011 a request for comments on regulatory guidance pertaining to the applicability of FMCSA regulations for operators of certain farm vehicles and off-road agricultural equipment (implements of husbandry).  Today, FMCSA announced the comment period has been extended from June 30, 2011 to August 1, 2011.  Thanks to all the IFCA members who have already submitted comments on behalf of the industry.  If you have not submitted comments to FMCSA, please take advantage of this extension to submit your comments.  IFCA has posted our comments along with the Federal Register and instructions how to submit them at www.ifca.com.  If you need assistance, please contact Jean or Kevin at the IFCA office.
