Spam Alert: ELDT Providers Receiving Bogus Emails
We have received the following Spam Alert from Dan Meyer of the Illinois Division Office of FMCSA:
The email seen below is being sent to some ELDT providers. This is a bogus email address and does not exist. The scammer is attempting to utilize an official looking email address to get the training provider to click on the link for nefarious purposes. FMCSA would not send an email with a hidden link to click on. Official correspondence would include the website information that they would need to utilize, not a hidden link. If you receive an email such as this, do not respond or click on any links. If anyone has questions regarding an email they have received and appears to be from our agency, they can reach out directly to FMCSA to verify.
