With primary elections ahead, state lawmakers wrapped up a legislative session in spring despite missing their April 8 end-of-session deadline by several hours.
 
On the agriculture side, notable successes include extending the biodiesel sales tax incentive as part of a larger tax package covered in a nearly 900-page bill that will be sent to Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
