With the government finally funded for fiscal 2022, lawmakers can turn their attention to other policy issues and begin work on funding legislation for FY23.
 
President Joe Biden signed the $1.5 trillion FY22 funding bill into law on Friday, just ahead of the expiration of one of a series of continuing resolutions that had been funding the government since Oct. 1.
