Regulations Update at IFCA Convention

The IFCA Convention is a great place to learn about new regulations impacting our industry, including the August 2011 minibulk compliance requirements, the regulations pertaining to the permitting and inspection of large fertilizer storage tanks, the implementation of the new Driftwatch.org website and an update on where Illinois EPA is at on the new NPDES permit requirements for pesticide applicators.  All of these subjects will be covered on January 20th.  On Jan 18th and 19th, there are also agronomy sessions and a critical general session on the nutrient stewardship challenge we face in Illinois.  Come to convention to ensure you understand and can ask questions about the policies and regulations that impact your business.  You can still register on-line at www.ifca.com then click on Convention, but do it soon!

And don't forget your NTIP nurse tank addendums must be completed by Feb 3, 2011.  For instructions on how to accomplish this, go to the IFCA homepage and look for the NTIP Addendum article.
