Illinois Department of Agriculture is again coordinating the annual pesticide container recycling program.  They will accept clean, triple rinsed containers and will also accept clean, cut-up minibulk containers.  BUT you must call IDA ahead of time if you plan to take minibulk containers to the collection sites.   Please contact Rick Severns at IDA at 217-558-4074 or Richard.Severns@illinois.gov to inform him of what type and how many mini-bulk containers you would like to recycle.  In the event you have several minibulk containers, a collection truck may be routed directly to your location.  The first collection is July 17th in Randolph County.  To see the list of all the collection sites and for details on the container recycling program click here.
