In-Person Spring Ammonia Schools Start March 1st

With the recent loosening of in-person meeting restrictions, IFCA in cooperation with the Illinois Dept of Ag will be hosting in-person anhydrous ammonia safety competent attendant training beginning March 1st.  This course provides important safety and ammonia facility regulatory information and enables the attendee to achieve a 3-year certificate as a "competent attendant" in order to handle ammonia and comply with IDA regulations.

There are nine upcoming classes available throughout the state.  Since each school will be restricted to 25 individuals, we will be hosting both morning and afternoon sessions.  Social distancing must be observed at each venue and we ask that you please wear a mask into the building until you are seated.

Dates and locations are as follows:

March 1 & 2:  Bloomington
March 3:  Mendota
March 4:  Quincy
March 8:  Marion
March 9:  Effingham
March 10:  Springfield

Train the Trainer Classes:  We still have a few openings left for ag retail members to sign up for the "train the trainer" course in order to be able to train your farmer customers to become certified in ammonia safety, as is required by new IDOA regulations.  These classes are Feb 12 in Bloomington, Feb 18 in Rock Falls and Feb 19 in Effingham.  Please email John Rebholz at john@ifca.com to get on the "train the trainer" class list or call the office at 309.827.2774.
