Last year, the Illinois legislature passed a law that requires all employers in Illinois to ensure their employees have training on how to recognize and avoid situations involving sexual harassment in the workplace.  Employees need to have this training completed by December 31, 2020 and must complete it each year thereafter.  

 

The Illinois Department of Human Rights has a free PowerPoint presentation that you can download to accomplish the training.  Go to www.illinois.gov/DHR/Training to access the presentation; instructions for how to access the slides appear in the first paragraph on this webpage.  Please be sure all your employees complete this training by year-end.
