This week our industry lost a wonderful man, John Buerk.  John worked for 38 years for the Harbrand family of companies and lived in Pana, Illinois.  John lost a short and sudden battle with cancer on May 12.  We will miss his warm smile and his love for the fertilizer industry.  John was 84.  His obituary is here.  Please keep his wife, Carolyn, and his children and grandchildren in your prayers.  We extend our condolences as well to his employee family in the Harbrand group and all those in our industry who worked with John for many years.  He will be missed.
