IFCA Honors Bill Whitworth
Today we ask that everyone take a moment to smile and remember Bill Whitworth, who passed away on Sunday.
Bill embodied the best of the fertilizer industry. In his role at Potash Corp, he was a salesman extraordinaire but more than that, he was an authentic, reliable, deeply charismatic man who embraced every day with vigor both in his professional career and his personal life.
Bill served on the IFCA board of directors, and his son Paul currently also serves on the Board. Bill enjoyed his years of retirement but he remained close with many in his industry family, and he will be deeply missed. He wouldn’t want us to be sad about his passing, but instead raise a toast to his hearty laugh and smile. Many an IFCA member enjoyed the hospitality and warmth that Bill shared so generously.
Bill’s obituary including arrangements is available here. The IFCA family sends our warmest thoughts and appreciation for his life to his family and many friends.
