During the February 28 opening evening of the 2019 Commodity Classic show in Orlando, FL, The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) acknowledged five pairs of growers and ag retailers as 4R Advocates for the upcoming growing season. Now in its eighth year, the 4R Advocate Program has recognized more than 80 growers/ag retailers, farming more than 176,000 acres in 20 states.

 

“Farmers rely on trusted retailers and advisors along with other farmers when making decisions about fertilizer application,” TFI President/CEO Chris Jahn said. “TFI’s 4R Advocates serve as real-world examples of how implementing 4R practices on a farm can positively impact the bottom line and provide environmental benefits.”
