As planting progress finally starts moving forward please keep in mind that if Spreaders/Applicators are loaded with product dry/liquid upon the roadway on the way to the field, registration along with license plates are a Secretary of State requirement.  In order to avoid the SOS requirements of registration/license plates on Spreader/Applicators is to tender these units in the field of application from a licensed tender truck and or trailer.  Finally, Spreaders/Applicators are restricted to a speed limit of 30 mph, by maintaining a safe operating speed on the highway it is less likely to draw the attention of local law enforcement officials.
