If you missed the spring IDA/IFCA anhydrous ammonia safety classes, or if you've just hired someone and they also missed the opportunity for classroom training, IFCA offers a temporary certification for the ammonia competent attendant.  The training is on-line and available here.  Once you complete the training it will issue a certificate that is good for 90 days and IFCA will submit your name to the IL Dept of Ag so they also know you have completed the temporary training.  Once you get through the season, be sure to attend the next available fall or spring NH3 classes to get a 3 year competent attendant certificate.  If you have any questions about ammonia training or regulations, please call John at 309.827.2774.
