IFCA Announces Schedule of Spring Ammonia Safety Classes
John Rebholz, IFCA's Director of Safety & Education, has set the schedule for the Spring 2018 anhydrous ammonia safety classes. The Illinois Department of Agriculture partners with IFCA to provide the training and issue a competent attendant certificate good for three years to anyone who attends. Persons who work with ammonia and ammonia equipment as part of their job duties are required by law to have this training once every three years, as are farmers who own their own ammonia storage systems.
Click here to be directed to the Ammonia School Registration page. You can see the schedule, register on-line and pay on-line for the courses. IFCA has a "Training" menu on our website that also features the dicamba training schedule, the temporary 90 day ammonia training for retailers and ammonia training for farmers. If you have any questions about the ammonia schools or ammonia regulations, please contact John at (309) 827-2774.
