Dicamba Training Classes

Attendance at the first four dicamba training classes has been outstanding.  In just the first four classes offered, over 500 private and commercial applicators have been trained and now comply with the training mandate of the new labels for Engenia, Xtendimax and FeXapan.

Go to www.ifca.com/illinoisdicambatraining to see the classes being offered.  The classes on this website are open to anyone to attend.  We also know that many IFCA ag retail members will be holding internal training classes for their employees or farmer customers and that is also encouraged.  When scheduling or attending dicamba training, please be sure to utilize the approved training classes that are being offered by Monsanto or BASF.  The IL Dept of Ag must approve the training curriculum to ensure it is comprehensive, consistent and non-biased.  To date, only these two companies have received IDA approval to conduct training.  Monsanto and BASF will provide training certificates to those who attend the training classes.

IFCA is offering approved dicamba training on all three days of the IFCA convention:  during the CCA session on Jan 16, following the testing session at the Pesticide Applicator testing on Jan 17, and as the last event of the day on January 18.  You should have received your IFCA Convention Registration program in the mail.  You can also access the convention schedule and register for these and other classes by clicking here or visit us on the "Convention" page at www.ifca.com.  Please contact IFCA if you have questions about the dicamba training requirement.
