The Illinois Department of Agriculture will offer recycling of empty agri-chemical containers in July and August.

 

High-density polyethylene, No. 2 plastic agri-chemical containers will be accepted if clean and dry. Metal and household pesticide containers will not be accepted. All caps, labels and other items must be removed before donation.

 

There is a permanent collection site in Greene County at CHS Inc. in Carrollton. There will also be several single-day collections in the region:
