It may not come as a surprise in a state with 11 billion dollars in unpaid bills, but once again legislation has been introduced to eliminate many sales tax exemptions, including the sales tax exemption for farm chemicals and ag machinery.  IFCA is watching this closely and we have talked to legislators about the value of these exemptions and why they exist.  Right now we are monitoring this issue to see how it develops, and if and when a call to action is in order, we will let our members know.  If you have questions please contact KJ Johnson at our office.
