Last week, Ken Smithson, who retired from Syngenta just this past April, died suddenly at the age of 68.  Ken was from Bloomington, IL and spent his entire career in the crop protection industry, through many mergers and changes, no doubt because of how skilled he was at building great relationships, being a good listener, having a great attitude about agriculture and about life, and deeply caring about the people in our industry.  He was a strong supporter of the IFCA as well as a member of the Illinois Agricultural Aviation Association and the National Ag Aviation Association.
