On Wednesday, August 31 at the Asmark Agricenter in Bloomington, IFCA is hosting a Transportation Workshop and there will be presenters from the Illinois State Police, IDOT Division of Traffic Safety, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, the Illinois Secretary of State and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.  We'll have indoor sessions going over all the regulations governing proper licensing and transportation of agricultural equipment, and then outdoor sessions with demonstrations of the equipment and what is legal, not legal, and what enforcement officers look for when they do a roadside safety check.  This is your chance to get all your questions answered about state and federal regulations governing transportation.  Click here for the agenda.  The cost to attend is $35 and includes a cookout lunch with all the speakers.  So far we've had very good sign up but there is still room available to attend.  Since our staff will be at MAGIE this week, if you would like to attend please send an email to leslief@ifca.com or call and leave a message at our office at 309.827.2774 and we'll get you registered.
