These workshops are free to attend and run from 8:30 am to Noon. Click here to see the agenda that lists the dates, locations and subjects that will be covered and the speakers. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the requirements and suggestions on equipment that can help assure compliance.
Even though the US Court has stopped OSHA from applying Process Safety Management rules to retail ammonia facilities at this time, it is still important to understand the requirements of the various national standards that apply to ammonia facilities. Many expect OSHA will still move forward with rulemaking to apply PSM to ag retailers, but regardless of what occurs next with OSHA, the new Illinois rules help to address weaknesses in the system and ensure that our facilities are adopting the latest technology and standards to keep ammonia a vital part of the fertilizer industry in Illinois.
