Iowa fertilizer plant to begin production this fall
After months of delays and construction setbacks, Iowa Fertilizer Company says its new plant could begin production by fall of this year.
“I feel pretty good about the schedule we have in front of us right now,” said Larry Holley, president of Iowa Fertilizer Company. “We’re running very hard to make sure we can keep that schedule.”
Tuesday, Holley and area leaders celebrated the completion of two new roadways, J-50 and 360th Ave, which were paved and expanded for truck traffic as part of the $1.9 Billion project that will create hundreds of new jobs.
