Press Release on Illinois 4R Certified Crop Advisers

IFCA and the Illinois CCA program issued a press release today listing the names of the newly certified 4R Nutrient Management Specialists.  Click here to access the press release.

We we are very proud of the many CCAs who attended the training earlier this year and took the difficult exam.   We also thank their employers who supported them in this effort.

The fact that nearly half of the 100 4R certified CCAs in the nation are from Illinois shows just how dedicated our members are to the IFCA Keep it 4R Crop program.   Our industry continues to work diligently to assure Illinois agribusiness remains a leader in providing sound agronomic advice to help Illinois farmers reduce nutrient losses.  In addition to the CCAs who passed the 4R exam, there are over 100 IFCA members who have taken the 4R Code of Practice Pledge and they can be viewed at www.Keepit4RCrop.org.

IFCA will share this news with all nutrient stakeholders as we continue to engage with agencies, environmental groups, water supply and water treatment officials and university researchers.  Thank you to everyone who supports our industry efforts and the work that CCAs and ag retailers statewide engage in daily to assure a positive working relationship with all who strive to minimize environmental impact, optimize yield and maximize nutrient utilization.
