In addition to the training and education opportunities at the IFCA Convention, next week there are several other events coming up.  

 

On January 26-27 at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel, there is a Midwest Drone Conference and Expo.  Admission is free.  To see the complete program and to register go to www.midwestdroneshow.com.  
 

On January 25, Illinois State University is having a meeting to showcase findings from their NREC projects on nitrogen management and cover crops; admission is also free but you must RSVP by January 15.  Send an email to mfakers@ilstu.edu to register.  Jean Payne is a speaker at the event, discussing nutrient issues and the IFCA Keep it 4R Crop initiatives to reduce nutrient losses in the ag sector.  
 

On February 4, the Lake Springfield Watershed is having a meeting from 8 am to 1 pm at Holy Cross Hall in Auburn; Jason Solberg from the IFCA staff will present on the N rate trials and N WATCH program on-going in that watershed.  To register for this meeting, send an email to michelle.seman@il.nacdnet.net.  All of these meetings offer CEU opportunities.
