Need IFCA Volunteers to Test IL Tier 2 Reporting System

No doubt you remember last year when the State's Tier 2 reporting system crashed and no one was able to get their reports filed without with frustration, logging on at midnight, or frankly, needing a stiff drink to recover from the torture.  The Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) did all they could to work with the software vendor to fix the system to no avail and IEMA was extremely apologetic and helpful throughout this crisis last year.  Recently IEMA met with IFCA and the Chemical Industry Council (CICI) to let us know that fixing the system before the 2016 reports are due has been their highest priority and they believe it is now fixed.  But they want to do a "test" on the system before the reporting cycle begins in earnest to make sure it works as planned.

IEMA has asked IFCA is we can find a dozen volunteers at ag retail locations to "test" the system during the week of October 19th.  It won't take long, they will just ask you to log on and fill in the report like you would normally due, and you can use information from a past report, this is just a test.  Please help us help IEMA:  send Jean Payne an email at jeanp@ifca.com if you are willing to volunteer, it will take about 1-2 hours to test the system.  CICI is also lining up volunteers.  Thank you!
