The first trial related to the deadly fertilizer explosion in West, Texas, in April 2013, looks to be moving forward after a judge refused to postpone it any further.

 

On Friday, State Judge Jim Meyer declined the defense’s motion to postpone the first trial to Oct. 12. That trial includes the relatives of three men killed in the blast.
