IFCA and the IL Dept of Agriculture are hosting four anhydrous ammonia safety training courses in early September, beginning on the 8th.  Click here to view the brochure with the class schedule and locations, and to register.  This class fulfills the requirement for a competent attendant at ammonia storage facilities.  Also in September, the IDA is hosting three ammonia equipment workshops:  On September 16 at the Civic Center in Mendota, on the 17th at the Asmark Agricenter in Bloomington, and on the 18th at Thelma Keller in Effingham.  The IDA equipment workshops are free and run from 8:30 am to Noon.  We encourage you to attend and get the lastest on proper ammonia equipment installation and maintenance!
