The Fertilizer Institute’s (TFI) President Chris Jahn announced that TFI and more than 100 partners will more than double existing investment in nutrient stewardship research, outreach and implementation.  The announcement was made at Michigan State University during a panel led by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.

“4R Nutrient Stewardship – or in the words of Secretary Vilsack, the use of the right source, rate, timing and placement of fertilizer, is the framework that helps growers boost the performance of inputs, leading to a reduction in air emissions from fertilizer application and improved water quality,” said Jahn.
