How would you like to renew your commercial applicator and operator licenses once every 3 years instead of every year?  It could happen if HB 3815 passes.  IFCA is supporting this measure proposed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture to streamline the license renewal process and have it coincide with the year you take and pass the test, with the license remaining good until your next testing date.  IDA is also working to ensure that if an employees goes to another pesticide application company, the three year license could be transferred for a small fee.  For more information on bills that IFCA is working on this year, check out the state and federal bills we are working on at the IFCA website under "Legislation" and "Legislative Updates" or click here.  Please feel free to call KJ Johnson, IFCA's Director of Government and Industry Relations, with any questions about legislative issues.
